The Supreme governing body the ADI university is its Board of Trustees. The organizational structure of ADI University in Yaounde, Cameroon, begins with the Board of Trustees, which is the highest governing body of the institution. The board is composed of a group of individuals, who are appointed or elected to serve as the primary decision-making body for the university. They are responsible for the overall governance of the University , and for making strategic decisions that guide the direction and policies of the institution.

Under the direction of the Board of Trustees, the university is led by the President/Director, who is appointed by the board. The President/Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the institution and for implementing the policies and decisions set by the board.

Below the President/Director, there are several key administrative positions that help to manage the university. These include:

  • Provost/Academic Director: The Provost is the chief academic officer of the university and is responsible for overseeing the academic programs, faculty and research.

  • Senior vice-presidents/Deputy Directors: These individuals are responsible for overseeing various areas such as finance, human resources, student services and others. They serve as key advisors to the President, reporting and making recommendations to him/her.

  • Deans/ Head of Schools: They are responsible for the academic and administrative aspects of the different faculties and colleges, including curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and student support services.

  • Department chairs/ Faculty chair: They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the specific departments within a faculty, such as teaching, research and service.

All of these positions work together to support the university's mission of providing an excellent education and creating a better future for our students, faculty, and staff, and the community. They also work together to ensure that all the university's operations run smoothly and effectively, providing support and resources to students, faculty and staff.
